This book is basically what I imagine a D&D campaign among good friends would look like. The characters are all utterly obnoxious, but there's a sensitivity to them that's allowed to play out in volume two: that helped them chill a bit since they stride a very dangerous line between likeable and not. The art is gorgeous and expressive (and /extremely/ violent). All in all, lots of fun to read!

This is an awesome, B.A. series. I adore the characters and the world. It's like "Sex and the City" meets "Lord of the Rings". Weird combo, I know, but totally worth it.

File this under "Things I Didn't Know I Needed In My Life But I'm So Glad It's Here Now". Rat Queens is like watching the snarkiest game of DnD unfold with completely three-dimensional characters fill with all the wit and dark humor one could ask for.

This hilariously geeky graphic novel features four sassy heroines (human cleric, elven mage, dwarven fighter, and halfling rogue). Parts of the book read like a classic Dungeons & Dragons campaign, including the surprised: -4 to initiative rolls. The artwork is amazing, the characters adorable, and the story has genuine depth.

I adore these characters! If you're not bothered by gore and raunchy humor, this is a wonderful and loving send-up of fantasy tropes. It's just fun to read about four dear friends who get to fight evil together!

Very fun comedic very violent graphic novel! Strong female role models to the max!

Definitely for RPG loving teens.
Throughout the series, no doubt does it always have that intense and overwhelmingly hilarious spin to it.

The art has even now continued to amaze me. extremely original style and full of color and character.

Hoping for more novels in the future for sure!!

If you're a fan of brains landing on the wrong side of the body, arms litteraly broken in 2, and guys eating 1 too many swords, this book is defanetly for you. But my opinion, a good quality of a graphic novel is the humor. Leave the blood and guts for the regular book matirial. This was still good, GO GIRL POWER!
P.S. were did the big snake eel come in.
