If ever there was an artist whose work best epitomized the Dadaist/Surrealist movement which came into existence in the early 20th Century, it would be the overall input of French-born artist, Marcel Duchamp.

With "Art as Anti-Art", Marcel Duchamp, and the flagrant self-irony of his "ready-mades", such as his famous "Fountain" (a reclaimed urinal) broke new ground in the art world and, surprisingly enough, actually helped to redefine this medium as we know it today.

Author Janis Mink's well-researched book is a first-rate study of the artist and the man, Marcel Duchamp.

Anyway - This glossy presentation of Mink's includes a choice selection of full-page, colour photographs showcasing many of Duchamp's most recognized works from every stage of his artistic career.
