This whole series has been thrilling and so breathtaking! I have been hanging onto every word! I was a bit shocked and disappointed when I got to this last volume because I didn't think there would only be twelve. I had also seen the movies first so I was very surprised with some of the events in this book. There's one particular event which I REALLY wish didn't happen but oh well. Overall, a fantastic series with fantastic characters, a very different type of story but brilliant none the less.

What a quirky ending! Still the best Manga ever! but once a character you love gets murdered, you lose the point of the story.

Just because they kill off a character you like doesn't mean the story is bad. Death Note is still hands down one of the best mangas/anime I've ever read/seen. It made me forever a fan of Tsugumi Ohba's work.

I was very sad when I read this, not because Light died (I was happy about that) but because this meant i didn't have any more volumes to read! Still, it was an awesome series with a very nice ending. I feel that both Mello and L's death was avenged.

All the good characters get killed off, but overall I'm satisfied with the ending of a terrific series.

This was one of the most incredible series I've ever read; novel OR manga. The ending was great, I'll try to write this without spoilers, but I was very satisfied, but sad because of what had to happen to get to that point. (One of the characters had to be killed). An amazing collection of novels, this was a truly genius idea and was executed to such a degree that I can't imagine anything else living up to! Everything was perfect! A true masterpiece!

this book is AMAZING like all the other death notes, the only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because they killed off all the best charecters left! they already killed L, is that not enough????
