This is a fun folktale, where a clever chicken tricks a crocodile to keep from becoming lunch. Note: younger children may not get the trick, but they enjoy the story anyway, in my experience. Fun for reading with puppets!

This is one of my school's favorite books. The kids love to hear the story again and again.

I love this story! Very funny and clever, with a hint of something darker. I think it would make a great felt.
